Stream Energy Serves the Community through Stream Cares Foundation

Stream Energy is a Dallas-bases company that provides energy, wireless and defensive home services. Despite its headquarters being in Dallas, Texas, the company also owns and operates branches with similar business endeavors in seven states in the United States including, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Stream Energy was established in the year 2005 by its founders; Rob Snyder and Pierre Koshakji. The company was founded at the time when the state of Texas was going through a deregulation period in their electricity market. So Stream Energy sought to provide the State with energy services. It took less than three years for the company to expand beyond Texas with the first expansion being in Georgia which was followed by the North Eastern region barely two years later. It was in the year 2015 that the company began dealing with services like mobile phone services. It was at this period also that the company launched Stream Wireless and became a wireless service provider.

Stream Energy has been able to maintain a loyal group of clients especially in the Dallas region where the company has also been actively helping the community through the Stream Cares Foundation.

Stream Cares Foundation

The Stream Cares Foundation is a huge part of Stream Energy. It is part of the company’s philanthropy project through which Stream serves the community. This foundation has been actively serving the community for years with the most outstanding occasion being when Hurricane Harvey hit the residential areas of Houston Texas. This calamity led to the loss of several human and animal lives and loss of properties including houses. During this period, many companies and establishments came forth to assist the victims. Stream was among the first establishments to reach out and lend a helping hand. Through the Stream Cares Foundation which has a close partnership with the Red Cross, the company was able to help find shelters for several families that were left homeless by the disaster. Stream also partnered with Hope Supply Co. to supply food products to more than 1000 people who were affected. This is just but one of the many instances that the company has actively helped the community in harsh times.
