Alexandre Gama’s Hard Work Finally Pays Off

Neogama is an award-winning advertising agency that was founded by Alexandre Gama in 1999. Within a year of operation, the agency won a coveted Golden Lion at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. Just two years later, in 2002, it won two Golden Lions in two separate main categories which was a first for a Brazilian agency. Since Neogama was founded, it was won numerous awards including 23 Golden Lions and Gama has been named CEO of the Year by numerous award agencies.

Alexandre Gama worked as a copywriter and creative director for over a decade before being named as CEO and COO of Young & Rubicam in 1996. He is the first Latin American invite to teach a Masterclass at Cannes and, in 2007, was named as one of the top three advertising executives in Brazil by Grupo Consultore. Gama has risen to the top of his industry but not without putting in the work.
